What does "sovereign" mean on Pilae Cloud, concretely?

Your workloads run on infrastructure operated by a Swiss company under Swiss law, in Swiss datacenters, with the option of CH-resident key custody. You can also keep workloads entirely on your own infrastructure and have us operate them in place. We don't claim certifications we don't hold. Current artifacts live in your Documents drawer.

Can I bring my own datacenter?

Yes. The hybrid plane is designed for it. We deploy a Pilae agent into your cluster or VPC, you keep custody of data and credentials, and you get the same console, runbooks and on-call.

What if an app isn't in the marketplace?

Request it. Curation means we say no to noisy or unmaintained projects, not that the list is closed. If the software is open source, has a healthy upstream, and runs cleanly under our hardening, we'll evaluate, package and operate it.

How is billing structured?

Flat operations fee per tier, in CHF, plus the workloads you actually run (compute, storage, egress), all visible on the Overview before the invoice. No spot pricing, no surprise meters. EU customers can invoice in EUR.

Who is on the other end of a ticket?

Named SREs based in Switzerland, operating during CET hours, with a 24/7 on-call rotation for production incidents. Tickets live alongside your workloads, with status, history and the engineers’ real names. Not a queue and a bot.
