What exactly does Pilae Cloud do?

You pick an app from our open-source catalog, choose a region, and deploy. We package and secure it, then keep it updated, scaled, backed up and monitored in production. You run open source without running the ops.

Can I run it on my own infrastructure?

Yes. Deploy to one of our regions, or install our agent on your own servers or cloud. You keep control of your data and credentials, and you get the same console, the same one-click deploys and the same automation either way.

What if an app isn't in the catalog?

Request it. Curation means we say no to noisy or unmaintained projects, not that the list is closed. If the software is open source, has a healthy upstream, and runs cleanly under our hardening, we'll package and add it.

How does billing work?

You pay for the compute, memory, storage and backups you actually use, and outbound traffic is free. Pricing works the same whether your apps run on our cloud or on your own machines. We're onboarding early teams hands-on, and we help with architecture and migration ourselves.

Where does my data live?

Wherever you choose: our US, EU or Switzerland regions, or your own servers. You pick the region per app, and your data stays there. If you're in a regulated industry, you can hold your own encryption keys.
